Shift ( The typhoon tragedy) 

We can't escape the fact that our country is near in pacific ocean. Two typhoon named Sendong and Pablo mostly devastates the Northern part of Mindanao and Visayas. What happen to the people who are living on  
that area? How does the typhoon affects their daily life?

On December 17, 2011, typhoon Sendong mostly devastate the City of Cagayan. The people who are living there thought that it was just an ordinary storm. They still keep celebrating the Christmas without knowing that the storm is going to land on their area. Many people die from the unexpected super typhoon. Some people are trap in their houses and drowned by the flash flood while others buried alive because of the landslide. They are unprepared for the super typhoon. After the typhoon, lots of dead people recovered. All the people who survived felt sad and find their missing love ones. Their resources had been depleted and they only depend on the help of the government. The typhoon change their life. It makes them more careful next time. They will now listen to the news so that they can prepare if there will be a typhoon coming.


On December 04, 2012, typhoon Pablo was next. It mostly devastate the City of Iligan.  Rich or poor are all affected by the typhoon. It was a rainy night. People are sleeping on their houses.Suddenly a strong flash flood with a lot of big lumber came from the mountain and wipe every houses. Lots of people die without saying goodbye to their love ones. After the typhoon, all who survived find their missing love ones. All their resources had been wiped out by the flash flood. They are all depending on the help of the government. That day is the most saddest day of their life. The typhoon change their life. They will now listen to the warning of the government. They will now always prepare so that it will not happen again.


The two typhoons change the life of the people living on the affected area. It makes them realize that we should not be to comfortable. We cannot predict the future. We must always prepare and be ready for the weather always change.
